SSI (Small Scale Industries)

Every business registered in India has certain benefits by the government based on its classification and the type of entity i.e. Small, Medium or Micro. When you register a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise, you will get an MSME certificate (provisional or permanent).

This MSME certificate helps you to enjoy various benefits like you can get loans easily, lesser interest on loans, various exemption under income tax, environmental clearances etc. When you are about to start an Enterprise, you should apply for a Provisional Registration. After Provisional MSME Certificate and you can apply for a Permanent Certificate, which has more benefits.

MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board)

Manufacturing unit in India need types of licenses from Indian Government i.e. State and Central, one of this is Pollution Licenses.

Any industry, which discharge sewage or effluent into the environment or emit any pollution in air will have to obtain consent of the State Pollution Control Board.

Similarly any industry / process generating, storing, transporting, disposing or handling hazardous waste are required to obtain authorization from MPC Board.

There are two types of consent

Consent to Establish

All the industries and activities needing consent must obtain consent to establish before actual commencement of the works for establishing the industry/activity.

Consent to Operate

This consent needs to be taken before actual commencement of production including trial production. This consent is valid for certain duration

BCC

Occupation Certificate (O.C.) is issued and thereafter Building Completion Certificate (B.C.C.) is issued. This completion certification is a mandatory legal document attesting that a new building has been constructed and completed according to all the safety norms and regulations of the Buildings Act.

DCC

DCC is a drainage completion Certification of Construction. It includes the Drainage, Heating & Plumbing during construction. In case of any damage to the sewer line or any other utility services during the progress of work will have to get repaired or shifted by the applicant at their own cost.

Fire of NOC

The conditional NOC is issued before building construction, based on inspection of the builder’s plan. It describes the structural details of the building and indicates changes required if any. It also mentions various fire safety, firefighting and fire evacuation measures, along with specific details, that need to be incorporated into the building, for the final NOC to be valid.

Procuring NOC

Purchasing managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of a purchasing department and develop and implement the purchasing policies of a business or institution. They are employed throughout the public and private sectors.

Factory License

The factory owners are required to notify and also register their premises with the local governing authority before the beginning of operations. This helps in facilitating the risk management at workplace and the total implementation of Safety and Health Management Systems in factory premises.

National Green Tribunal Act 2010 for effective and expeditious disposal of cases relating to environmental protection and conservation of forests and other natural resources including enforcement of any legal right relating to environment and giving relief and compensation for damages to persons and property and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Aviation Clearance

Airports Authority of India has introduced NOCAS, NO Objection Certificate Application System, to accept online applications for height clearance for the structures such as buildings, masts, chimney and billboard etc.

Railway Clearance

No objection certificate for construction is taken from Indian Railways for the construction of Commercial buildings near the railway land. The basic intention behind the stipulations is to safeguard Railway’s interest in such a manner that no future encroachments take place and there is no accrual of easement right such as, Right of Way, Right to discharge sullage and storm water, etc.

Environmental Clearance
